It’s not often that we get together a group of 125 of our closest friends and race on trails… but there’s no better way to spend a Saturday when you #lovetosuffer as much as we do.
The REI Sufferfest 10k Trail Run was a steep 6.2 miles on the trails of coastal Marin county. We ran up rocky inclines with views of the spires of the Golden Gate bridge, soared downhill on gentle slopes of rolling hills, and toasted with some breakfast beers and tacos at the finish line (tacos courtesy of our friends at Early Bird Tacos).
From olympic athletes and world-class runners to absolute beginners who hiked the entire way (shoutout to some Sufferfest parents!), everyone found their own sufferfest and enjoyed the grind.
If you didn’t make it out to this race — never fear! We’ll be back out there soon... you can't keep us away. For now, enjoy the beautiful photos (by the incomparable Francois LeBeau) and we'll see you out there next time.

All's quiet before the storm.
We’re thinking about making breakfast beers a thing — maybe only on race day, though.
